After 20-plus years of working to protect climbing access, the Access Fund has seen nearly every scenario for how to lose access to our precious crags and boulder fields. Some of those situations are beyond the control of the average climber. But the majority of access issues can be averted if climbers avoid some common pitfalls.
My girlfriend and I have been on the road climbing and traveling for quite sometime. Back in Aug 2014, we decided to start a blog. Recently, I was moved to discuss the issues with 'respecting' nature and focusing on the conservation of our priceless playgrounds. I discussed the loss of an entrance near central Arizona by some missing these 'Seven surefire ways'. Not long after I saw your video on 'The Pact' and was truly inspired by the movement to pass this message along to others! I added a link to my blog [called R.E.S.P.E.C.T.] for your video and was hoping you would give it a look or even pass my post along through your site: http://wild-paths.com/2014/12/a-guide-to-yosemite-... . Either way thanks for all you do to keep climbers enjoying these special places around our Country.
