(all day)
Where: Shelf Road, Cañon City, CO
Event Description:
Join the Rocky Mountain Field Institute for an Adopt a Crag at Shelf Road! This event is in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management, Royal Gorge Field Office, to improve belay platforms at the Mammoth area, Ejection Wall, and Gym Arete, as well as trail tread maintenance at the Gym and New Gym crags. This will involve a hike of about 1 mile from the campground and trailhead to reach the worksite. Project tasks will involve plenty of rock moving, some construction of rock features such as steps and walls, as well as other needed approach trail maintenance tasks. This will be strenuous and highly-rewarding work!
Registration:
Saturday, September 26th: https://www.rmfi.org/civicrm-e...
