Event Description:
Haycock Bouldering Coalition will be back out this summer continuing our series of cleanup events on Haycock Mountain. While previous cleanup events have focused on the arduous task of removing the extensive amount of graffiti on the mountain, this Adopt a Crag will also focus on chalk removal, trail maintenance, and trail marking.
The Adopt a Crag will start at 8:00am. Meet in the Top Rocks parking lot for a brief orientation, distribution of cleanup equipment, and overview of the days events.
Volunteers can help clean graffiti, pack out trash, wash boulder problems to remove excess chalk, assist in blazing an official trail through the Top Rock talus section, among other duties. No official time commitment is needed. The event will start at 8:00am and will conclude around 2:00pm.
