Access Fund is producing and beta testing small quantities of bolt removal devices to help local bolt replacers address the issue of aging climbing anchors in the United States. If you're interested in testing one of these tools, please complete the survey below to request a device. Our staff will be in touch after your request is reviewed.
With the overwhelming demand for bolt removal tools that we’ve experienced over the past few years and the goal of continuing to produce these tools, Access Fund would like to encourage tool recipients to consider making a donation to cover the cost of materials and production. Currently the cost to produce one Hurley Junior is $75.67 and the cost for one Hurley Senior is $118.41. This donation is completely voluntary and if you can’t swing it, don’t worry, we’ve got your back! The most important thing to us is that you have the tools to address aging anchors at your local crag, but as we mentioned your donation will help us make sure we can continue to supply these tools to volunteers like you! You can contribute what you’re able to at accessfund.org/donate.
Not sure if your project is a good fit? Please review the device instructions for more information. If you still have questions, reach out to Mike at [email protected].
