Lauren divides her time between guiding on glaciated peaks in Washington, and spending time climbing, canyoneering, and generally enjoying the desert southwest. Rest days are for coffee drinking, learning to play guitar, mountain biking, and making art. She is honored and excited to work with the Access Fund as a climber steward in Indian Creek this fall.

Johanna is stoked to be a member of the pilot steward team in Indian Creek. She has been climbing for five years and finds her greatest joy out in the desert. When not climbing, you can find her backpacking, surfing, practicing yoga, or cooking a tasty meal with friends.

The Indian Creek Climbing Stewards connect with and educate the climbing community to help create more conscious and caring climbers committed to sustaining the health of this special, fragile place.
